School Site Council

 

It is the role of the school site council (SSC) to make decisions that affect the principal, the staff, the community and the students at the school. It focuses on planning, implementation, and evaluation of the school improvement plan. It allocates money that comes from the state to support the goals of the school plan. The School Site Council then reviews their decisions and makes adjustments along the way. Having an effective School Site Council could mean an improving school site where voices are heard and actions are carried through. Members of the School Site Council include the principal, staff, parents, and community members. All work together to make Valencia Park the best school it can be.
