PTA President's Message

Rolling Hills PTA
2008-2009

Welcome Back Roadrunners!

Here we are again, the first day of school. I hope everyone had a wonderful summer, and is ready to start the new school year.  The PTA board members have been getting together regularly to plan many exciting events which will take place all year long. We are definitely ready for the fun to begin.  Our theme for the year will be “Happy Days at Rolling Hills”.  What better way to start the fun than with the annual carnival on Sept. 26th.  Kids, teachers, and parents alike, can all get in the spirit by dressing up in anything 50’s.

Rolling Hills PTA is proud to sponsor many events, and looks forward to everyone’s involvement. Whether it is sharing your ideas during an association meeting to volunteering your time, we appreciate all kinds of parent support. PTA is about what is best for our kids, all of our kids.  Currently, only 3% of Rolling Hills parents who are PTA members, consistently provide input and vote on how to spend the school’s PTA money.

As your PTA President, I encourage more of you to step forward and be a part of the decision making process. Our goal is to have 100% membership and participation in the near future.  When you are on campus, look for the PTA board members in their blue 50’s style jackets. Any one of us is ready to welcome you and answer any questions you may have. Remember, we want to hear from you.

Thank you in advance for all you do for our school. The year runs so much smoother when our principal, teachers, and parents all work together in the best interest of the students. Have a great year.

Sincerely,

Julie Clark
PTA President
