Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year!
The first day of school will be Monday, August 29, 2011. The staff and I welcome you and look forward to your continued support and participation in all school events.
I would like to say that it is hard to believe that I will begin my eighth full year at Raymond. I am so proud to be the principal of this school, where I feel that every adult on campus strives to make a positive connection with students. At Raymond, we care about providing the best environment where teachers can maximize every student’s potential and instill a love of life-long learning in an asset-rich environment.
About Test Scores:
Students in grades 2-6 take state tests annually in May. Raymond is extremely proud to announce that many of our students, once again, made another year of positive growth or more. Congratulations students, teachers, parents, and the Raymond community because your hard work really made a difference last school year! Raymond's constant and steady academic growth for the last seven years has earned our school the Title 1 Academic Achievement Award in 2007 and our current state API (Academic Performance Index), as of last school year, is 833.
