A Word From Our Principal Mrs. Hoyt
Welcome to a new and exciting school year. This year will be filled with rich and rewarding experiences for all of our students. We will be expanding our technology opportunities for students through the use of iPod Touch devices, iPads and Brightlink interactive whiteboards. Learning in the 21st Century is very different from the way we experienced school as young students. We will be sharing these opportunities for parents as well so be sure to watch the calendar of events for your turn to use our special equipment.
Back To School Night
Mark your calendars for September 22, 2010 for Back to School Night! This will be a great opportunity for parents to learn about the school, their child’s teacher, curriculum, content standards and way to become involved in school activities. The following meetings will be held prior to classroom visits for your convenience. Title I Meeting:
5:00 p.m. Multipurpose Room
We will review current information from our state testing results for 2009- 2010 school year. 6th Grade Camp Meeting
5:30 p.m. Room 1
6th grade students have the opportunity to attend the outdoor science camp at the Ocean Institute again this year. Please join us to find out specific information regarding participation in this wonderful event.
6:00 p.m.
PTA meeting Multipurpose Room
6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
