Teacher of the Year 2010 - 2011 at Maple School
I want to thank my colleagues for nominating me for teacher of the year. I am so honored and lucky to be able to work with a staff that cares so much for the kids. Their dedication and commitment to their craft has driven and motivated me. It is because of their hard work that our students succeed.
My six years at Maple have brought some challenges, but the things I remember the most are the interactions that I’ve had with the students and staff. Whether it is teaching them in class, talking with them on the playground, or playing the occasional game of basketball, each student adds something a little different to make each day worthwhile. I look forward to being a part of the continued progress and success at Maple School.
